UML Chairman Oli's father cremated at Aryaghat (Pictures)

The last rites of the late Mohan Prasad Oli, father of CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, have been performed.

According to Oli’s secretariat, the cremation took place on Friday at Aryaghat, Pashupati.

Mohan Prasad Oli passed away at the age of 97 at 3 a.m. on Friday at Nepal-Korea Friendship Municipal Hospital in Gatthaghar.

According to Oli’s secretariat, he had been unwell for the past few days.

He had been living at his daughter’s home. After his health condition became critical, he was taken to the hospital early Friday morning, where doctors pronounced him dead.
